"If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you."
Sergio Oliva Jr. is an IFBB Professional Bodybuilder and son of Golden Era legend, Sergio “The Myth” Oliva. Junior was first introduced to the bodybuilding community when he graced the stage in his father’s arms at the Olympia. His father, Sergio Oliva, is the 3x IFBB Mr. Olympia champion and the only men to beat Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Olympia stage. Junior’s mother, Arleen Garrett, is a former 3x world female bodybuilding champion and Mrs. America.
In high school, he began his athletic career in track competing in the National Championships. In his formative years bodybuilding was not his primary focus, however, he felt increasingly passionate about getting involved in the sport. He decided to put his legendary genetics to the test and deeply immersed himself in bodybuilding. To no one’s surprise within months Junior gained muscle with ease and became a rising star.
After almost 10 years of hard work, dedication, and an impressive list of competitions under his belt, Sergio Jr. won Overall and his pro card at the 2015 NPC National Championships. He then followed up his pro card victory by taking front and center at 2017 the New York Pro, where he would reign supreme and take 1st place.
This year he was personally invited by Arnold Schwarzenegger to compete in the Arnold Classic. With OSL on his side, Sergio Oliva Jr. more is determined than ever to leave his own mark on the sport of bodybuilding.
